The College Art Association teamed up the CMSI to simply the approach to the principles found within the Code of Best Practices in Fair Use for the Visual Arts. Today we take a closer look at Principle Four: Museum Uses.
Museums often find themselves in need of using copyrighted material as a way to enhance the multiple services they provide, from curating an exhibit, to preserving and publishing. Invoking fair use may facilitate these endeavors.
