Join us for American University’s screening of the inspirational documentary Afghan Dreams, followed by a panel discussion on April 8th, 2015. Afghan Dreams is a short documentary detailing the aspirations of four young Afghan women law students. Hosted by Professor Bill Gentile and co-sponsored by the Foreign Correspondence Network.

Afghan Dream shares the journey of four law students, Arghawan, Duniya, Nabila, and Rohila, as they train to compete in the prestigious international commercial law competition, the Vis Moot. It is is a story of triumph, fulfilled aspirations and redefining what it means to be a woman in Afghanistan.

We will begin the evening with a reception at 6:30 PM. The film will begin showing at 7:00 PM, followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers.Please join us for an evening of networking, Afghan Dreams, and fun!
